ProAct’s Internet Visitor Exchange
(ProActIVE) is an online, web-based scheduling, staffing and reporting
tool that combines the functions of ProAct with advanced features
powered by internet technology. We provide protected, easily traced,
online communication between staff and managers.
Data can be imported from HR and/or changes made
via
ProActIVE. If your HR system is not providing employee
self-service, ProActIVE can do so and can electronically send the data
to HR.

Employee Self-Service:
The Internet is now an accessible tool to engage the workforce as
partners and to eliminate labor-intensive, manual processing.
When staff enter and maintain their own information, paperwork is
minimized and managers freed to oversee patient care.

Employees (and
volunteers too) can tap into the power of
ProActIVE
from
home or from an Information Kiosk to:
- View or adjust their electronic timesheets.
- Research their own payroll queries.
- Check their own schedules
or their
department’s roster.
- Enter requests
for leave or days on & off.
- Self-schedule
with the ability to see their
unit’s schedule as well.
- Record their availability
for casual or extra shifts.
- View and/or adjust their own personnel data such
as
name, address, phone numbers or other data from the 5 screens
of the ProAct Staff Database.
- See reports
that management deems appropriate.

Managers’
Web-Tools:
Managers can access ProAct data via the web from home if
desired. In addition, Managers from remote sites, clinics,
etc. who do not have direct access to ProAct, can use the web-tools to:
- Check personnel details on their staff (everything
from phone numbers
and leave
- accrual balances to
competencies or when performance appraisals are due).
- See who is on duty now or a shift in the past or
future.
- Check the skills of the staff on-duty.<
- Edit their units’ schedules.
- Adjust daily staffing with floats, sick calls, agency
replacements, etc.
- Record staffing notes for after-hours supervisors.
- Generate reports and view them on the web.
Electronic Sign-Off
All employee entry screens have a corresponding sign-off
function in
ProAct where managers, staffing coordinators, HR, or Payroll staff can
review and approve the data prior to updating ProAct.
